ROCHESTER – A Rochester man who was arrested last month in a domestic assault just hours after having been found guilty for assaulting a former girlfriend was arrested again last Thursday and charged with stalking the victim in the most recent case, which occurred March 17.
Brian Bundza, 30, of 9 Deerfield Court, was formally charged with stalking on Friday and given an arraignment date later this month. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance.
Hours before the March 17 assault he was found guilty and sentenced in Strafford County Superior Court to 12 months in jail, all suspended pending his good behavior for two years, for assaulting his former girlfriend on Jan. 1, 2013.
A Rochester Police report from March 17 indicates there was a domestic disturbance at a 10 Rod Road residence, but it was a 30-year-old male who was injured, not the female who was also involved in the altercation.
Rochester Police Capt. Paul Toussaint indicated last month that the disturbance involved a male and a female, and that Bundza was involved.
One of Bundza's bail provisions was to have no contact with the victim.
The March 17 Rochester Police log indicates a call came in to the Rochester Police Dispatch Center at 9:53 p.m. and a minute later the dispatcher’s narrative notes, “30-year-old male assaulted by girlfriend … several other people enr (en route) to beat up the male.”
Soon after a Frisbie ambulance transported the male to the hospital.
