DOVER - A Rochester woman who pleaded guilty on Tuesday to two drug trafficking arrests in Somersworth in February 2020 will see no jail time.
Megan L. Brown, 39, of Royal Crest, Rochester, was sentenced to one and a half to three years in prison on both charges, which were deferred for one year followed by suspended sentence for an additional two years.
Brown was indicted on the two drug trafficking charges in August, both of which carried 30-year maximum sentences and $500,000 fines.
According to the indictment, Brown "did commit the crime of ... sale of a controlled drug, in that she did knowingly and unlawfully sell a quantity of five grams or more of a substance, which she represented to be the Schedule B controlled drug fentanyl."
The arrests were made based on charges incurred for drug buys on Feb. 20 and Feb. 28, 2020.
Brown was arrested as part of a joint operation with the DEA and Somersworth Police.
A cooperating suspect made twp controlled buys from Brown and an accomplice, which were the basis for arrests warrant that were issued against her.
