CONCORD - A Franklin woman was arrested on Thursday for allegedly tampering with public records.

Heidi L. Holt, 38, was charged with a Class B misdemeanor count of forgery and a Class A misdemeanor of tampering with public records.

It is alleged that Holt forged a court order to make it appear that a New Hampshire Superior Court judge had "expunged" her previous convictions. Authorities allege she then provided the forged order to Google, in an attempt to have Google remove certain websites from its search results.

The class A misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of up to one year of imprisonment and a fine up to $2,000, while the Class B misdemeanor carries a maximum fine up to $1,200.

Holt will be arraigned before the 6th Circuit Court - District Division - Franklin today.
