Wolfeboro man drowns on town beach; death said not suspicious

WOLFEBORO - A 65-year-old Wolfeboro man found drowned at a local beach Thursday evening.

The man's body was found face down in the water at Carry Beach in Wolfeboro around 6:15 p.m.

Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue responded and with assistance from local bystanders got the man to shore for medical treatment. Life-saving measures were attempted, but the man, identified as Thomas A. Lennon, was pronounced deceased.

Marine Patrol does not believe the death is suspicious.
