When they don't want to cook, they go to the 'Nook'

MILTON - The lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions are always fresh, the grilled chicken is always incredibly flavorful and the house dressing is so good you'll never ask for anything else.

We're talking about Pizza Nook in Milton of course, where locals have been getting the best pizza in town for many decades.

Their pizza and calzones are a favorite, but being gluten free we eschew the pizza and chew on their delicious salads which are likely the biggest bargain in the Northern Seacoast.

We've had their tuna and their chef, but are favorite is the grilled chicken, which comes with some robust seasoning that you'll not soon see replicated anywhere else.

When you walk into the downtown eatery and see owner Frank Loli with his perpetual smile and his small cadre of workers busy making orders to go or for delivery, you'll know this is Milton's go-to comfort food destination.
