CONCORD - A West Stewartstown man was convicted on Wednesday in a 2022 double murder in Gorham.
A jury found Craig Keville, 35, guilty of first- and second-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Holly Banks, 28, and Keith LaBelle, 42. Investigators said the bodies of Banks and LaBelle were found on April 27, 2022, inside a home on Main Street in Gorham.
Prosecutors argued that Keville was furious that his former girlfriend Banks had chosen to be with someone new.
Juror's also found Keville guilty on three charges of Falsifying Physical Evidence, for disposing of the handgun used in the killings, as well as a handgun case and paperwork. Additionally, the jury found Keville guilty of a charge of Simple Assault against Banks.
"Today's verdict delivers justice for Holly Banks and Keith LaBelle, and our hearts go out to their families and all those who knew and loved them," AG John M. Formella said in a statement sent on Wednesday. "I extend my sincere thanks to our trial team, the New Hampshire State Police, and the Gorham Police Department for their tireless and excellent work on this case. The State should be proud that we have such excellent and dedicated professionals working to keep New Hampshire citizens safe."
