ROCHESTER - A significant water main break leading to a sinkhole on Old Dover Road has forced its closure in the area of Weeping Willow Drive and the Exit 11 off ramp from Route 16.
The result of the break has also resulted in significant ice issues due to the frigid weather.
Crews have been working on repairs since late Friday, but as of 6 a.m. today that area of the road is still shut down, so motorists should seek alternative routes until notified everything is OK.
Police indicated they would be making announcement when the road has been opened.
