ROCHESTER - A public hearing will be held following the City Council Workshop on Tuesday regarding low-income elderly housing at Champlin Place.
The purpose of the hearing is to update the public and take public comment on the CDBG Project.
CDBG funds are available to municipalities through the NH Community Development Finance Authority, with up to $500,000 available for housing projects.
The CDBG project subrecipient is Easterseals New Hampshire, Inc., which has completed construction of 65 units of affordable, elderly units at 215 Rochester Hill Road known as Champlin Place. The work is substantially complete with a Certificate of Occupancy already issued and residents moving in.
The workshop begins at 6 p.m.
