Tilton man nabbed for DWI, driving without a license, breach of bail

CONCORD - A Tilton man was arrested for drunken driving after police found him driving the wrong way on Interstate 93 early Saturday morning.

State Police got involved around 2:55 after receiving multiple reports of a wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes on Interstate 93 at mile marker 48 in the town of Canterbury.

Arrested at the scene was Randolph P. Griffin Jr., 25, who was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, driving while intoxicated, operating without a valid license and breach of bail.

Griffin is being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections pending his arraignment today in Merrimack Superior Court, according to a Dept. of Safety press release sent Sunday,.
