ROCHESTER - Three area residents were hurt Tuesday night in a two-car crash at the intersection of Pickering and Tebbetts roads.

The crash occurred around 6:15 p.m. when police say Wayne Roberts, 65, of Farmington was traveling north on Pickering Road in a Ford F-150 pickup truck and collided with a car driven by 78-year-old Stephen Taylor, 78, of Rochester. Taylor was making a left turn onto Tebbetts Road when the accident happened, police say.

Roberts, an adult passenger in his vehicle and Taylor were all transported to Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, N.H., by Frisbie EMS with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.

All of the vehicle occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Both Taylor’s Buick Lesabre and Roberts’ truck suffered extensive front-end damage and were towed from the scene.

Alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been contributing factors, police said, however, it does remain under investigation.
