Thomas C. Burke ... longtime electrician

ROCHESTER - Thomas C. Burke, 72, died on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover after a brief illness. Thomas was born in Dover on June 25, 1945, the son of Edward and Maxine (Hilbourne) Burke.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a master electrician for over 50 years. Thomas was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester where he served as an usher and was a volunteer with the Rochester Soup Kitchen for over 35 years.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents and brother, Richard Burke.
Surviving members of the family include his wife of 52 years, Arlene (Marsh) Burke, two daughters; Kimberly Guptill and husband Russell, Karen Burke-Troon and husband James; grandchildren, Jennifer Burke-Guptill (fiancé Nick) and Monica Guptill, a brother-in-law Earl Marsh and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
