MILTON - Thelma Louise "Toddy" Ellis 94, of Tenneriffe Road died on April 10, 2021 at Rochester Manor in Rochester.
Born in Newington on July 13, 1926, daughter of Ernest Collins and Eunice (Sawyer) Collins. She was raised in Portsmouth and Massachusetts. She had resided in Milton for 75 years, coming from Gonic. The last 3 years she has lived at the Rochester Manor.
Toddy retired as a Head Cook for the Milton School District.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, crocheting, knitting, fishing, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, board games and card games.
Toddy attended Sacred Heart Church of Milton and St. Anthony's Church in Sanbornville.
Survived by her 5 sons; Russell E. Ellis, Jr., David A. Ellis, Brian M. Ellis, Leon L. Ellis, Lloyd G. Ellis, 3 daughters; Dolores E. Woodill, Marie J. Hersey, Pauline L. Collins, sister; Leona Verville, sister-in-law; Margaret Verville, longtime friend; Barbara Pomroy, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband; Russell E. Ellis, Sr., her son; James R. Ellis, 2 brothers; Edward D. Verville, Jr. and Theodore Collins
