Teenager killed in York motorcycle crash

YORK, Maine - A teenager died Tuesday after their motorcycle crashed on Cider Hill Road in York.

The crash occurred around 8:05 p.m., drawing police and fire, who rendered aid to the victim before transporting them to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where they later died.

The operator of the motorcycle, 17, was the only person involved in the crash. Their name is not being released pending notification to their family.
The crash remains under investigation and is being reconstructed by the York Police Department accident reconstructionist.
