LINCOLN - A Tamworth woman was killed Thursday in a rollover crash on Interstate 93 in Lincoln.
The crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. on I-93 north near mile marker 107.4. Police say when they arrived they found a single vehicle on its roof and in a ditch at the side of the roadway.
A preliminary investigation indicated that Janet E. Carroll, 74, was traveing north when her vehicle drifted off the east side of I-93, continued off the soft shoulder and struck a ditch causing it to rollover onto the roof.
Carroll was given medical attention but was pronounced deceased at the scene.
