Today's Accuweather forecast map for Thankgiving Day storm

AccuWeather meteorologists are predicting today that the Thanksgiving Day storm could bring a well-organized but fast-moving system system that could reach will into Northern New England.

They say that narrow bands or pockets could see several inches of snow and rain as it treks into Northern New England from southwest to northeast into to Downeast Maine.

Slippery travel is possible thoughout the afternoon

In the Northeast, moderate to heavy snowfall is most likely over northern New England and the higher elevations in central New England.

In the Northern Seacoast The precipitation on Thursday will begin as rain around 10 a.m. with temps in the mid-30. Rain will continue into the afternoon as temps roll into the low 40s.

Skies will then turn cloudy around 4 p.m. and mostly clear around 7 p.m. as it pulls northeast into Maine.
