Somersworth man dies in mobile home fire on Crystal Springs Way

SOMERSWORTH - A Somersworth man died on Friday in a mobile home fire on Crystal Springs Way.
Firefighters responded around 11:40 a.m. for a report of smoke billowing from the home.
Initial responding firefighters from the Somersworth Fire Department confirmed flames were showing from the home, and additional assistance was requested from surrounding communities.
As crews entered the home to suppress the fire, an adult male was found deceased, according to a statement released from Somersworth Fire on Friday.
The fire was later knocked down and determined to be under control at 12:25 p.m.
Investigators with the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal's Office were called to the scene where an investigation into the origin and cause continues today.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending an autopsy to confirm the cause and manner of death. The autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
