ROCHESTER - Several motorists were injured in Gonic Road crash on Friday.
The collision occurred around 10 a.m. when police say Joseph Vandenbusscheage, 35, of Nottingham, was driving a Ford Fusion north on Gonic Road when Guy Monaco, 89, of Arlington, Mass., was pulling out of Loring Drive in his Hyundai Elantra.
A number of passengers from the Fusion were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment of what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.
Both cars sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
Part of Gonic Road was shut down for a short time with traffic able to be rerouted through side streets.
