SANFORD = A Sanford teenager was arrested on Tuesday in the stabbing of a 40-year-old man.
Sanford Police responded around 5:10 p.m. to a residence at 16 Pinewood Drive where they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the leg, according to a press release from Sanford Police Major Matthew Gagné sent today.
The victim was stabilized and transported by Sanford Ambulance for treatment of his injuries. He is listed in stable but serious condition.
The male suspect, Bryce Tippett, 18, was arrested on scene and charged with elevated aggravated assault. He was transported to York County Jail where he is being held without bail pending his arraignment.
