Sanford man nabbed for DWI after chase through Milton, Farmington

FARMINGTON - A Sanford man was arrested for drunken driving on Friday after leading police on a chase through Milton and Farmington.

The incident unfolded around 8 a.m. when Marc Horowitez, 48, was seen stopping his vehicle in the middle of the Spaulding Turnpike in Milton. Police pursued Horowitz into Farmington, where police caught up with him at the intersection of Routes 75 and 153, according to a state police press release.

Horowitz was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless operation and disobeying a police officer. He will be arraigned next month at Rochester District Court.
