Safety officials investigating drowning of man in Dublin pond

DUBLIN - State Police and Marine Patrol officers are investigating a drowning at a pond in Dublin.

Police got involved around 3:25 p.m. on Friday when they received a report of the drowning after the body of an adult male wearing a wetsuit and swim cap was recovered.

Safety officials say the death is not believed to be suspicious in nature and the investigation is ongoing. The name and age of the adult male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

In addition to Marine Patrol, members of the Dublin Police Department, Dublin Fire Department, State Police Troop C and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene.
