ROCHESTER - The Rochester Voice on Tuesday was pleased to present a check to the Share Fund to further their mission to supply food, clothing and emergency funds to families in need in Rochester and surrounding towns.
The main outlet to the benefits they offer is Gerry's Food Pantry located in back of the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center at 150 Wakefield St., in Rochester.
Some of the services they offer include financial assistance, food pantry, clothing and a diaperbank.
With the economy and inflation such as it is, Share Director Skip Smith said those needing assistance are at record levels.
The Rochester Voice was happy to donate a percentage of new sales revenue for the month of January. The Voice also donated a monthlong ad with a link to their donation page, which readers will find a link to below.

"We were more than pleased to get this donation out to the Share Fund," said Rochester Voice editor Harrison Thorp. "With the economy and inflation in such terrible shape, it's a wonder low- and middle-income families can even survive."
