Rochester teen cited in East Rochester crash

EAST ROCHESTER - A teenage Rochester girl was hurt in a two-crash at the corner of Salmon Falls Road and Highland Street (Route 202) on Friday.
The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when, according to police, a 2013 Dodge Ram being driven east on Highland Street was approaching the intersection when a 2001 Nissan Altima, driven by a 16-year-old Rochester girl, began to turn left from Highland Street onto Salmon Falls Road and crossed in front of the Dodge.
The driver of the Dodge, a 67-year-old Nova Scotia man, and his passenger were not injured. A passenger in the Nissan was also unhurt.
Both vehicles were damaged and towed from the scene.
The Rochester teenager was charged with Operating without a valid license and Failure of Traffic Turning Left to Yield.
