ROCHESTER - Rochester Police continue investigations into a pair of recent incidents, one that has already resulted in an arrest.
A reported gunplay incident on Court Street on Oct. 20 led to the arrest of a Rochester woman.
Sarah A. Rawlins, 35, of Court Street, was arrested on felony criminal mischief and criminal threatening charges as well as misdemeanor simple assault.
An investigation is ongoing and details are scarce, but police confirm that the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Glenwood Street.
The arrest log mentions that shots were fired, but police say there is no indication any weapon was discharged, and no one was injured, but a car window was shattered.
Police say the incident did involve a handgun and that several people were involved.
The other incident still being probed involved an early morning accident on Lowell Street on Oct. 27.
According to that day's police log, a caller reported around 12:14 a.m. that there was a car into a ditch, but no one was in or around the vehicle. Police searched the area and brought in a K9 track that was unsuccessful.
The log entry ended with an officer saying he was headed to the car owner's residence.
Both investigations are open and active and additional arrests are possible, according to Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham.
