DOVER - A Rochester man has been indicted in the running of an illegal drug use property.
Dwane Lacroix, 54, of 46.5 Chestnut St., was formally charged with the crime of "common nuisance: illegal drug use abode."
The charge is a Class B felony, punishable by up to seven years in state prison.
According to the indictment, Lacroix "did knowingly maintain an apartment at 46.5 Chestnut St. in the city of Rochester, N.H., which was resorted to by drug-dependent persons for the purpose of using controlled drugs."
Court records show the offending time period to be from Aug. 24 to Dec. 21.
The most recent Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on March 15 and released on Friday.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to move forward to trial.
