Rochester man among five picked up in yearlong drug probe

DOVER - The Strafford County Drug Task Force today announced the arrest last month of several area men including one from Rochester as a result of a yearlong investigation into drug activity in Strafford County. Those arrested were:

Remy Lopez, 33, of 22 Lafayette St, Rochester. He was taken into custody on an EBW and held at the Strafford County Jail on $500 cash bail.

Marc Stevens, 35, of 360 Main St, Somersworth. Stevens was arrested for the sale of a controlled drug. He was processed at the Dover Police Department and released on PR bail.

Dustin Rice, 25, of 1992 Wakefield Road, Sanbornville. He was arrested for the sale of a controlled drug, processed at the Dover Police Department and released on PR bail.

Troy Stringer, 26, of 374 Manchester St, Manchester. Stringer was arrested for the sale of a controlled drug. He was processed at the Strafford County Jail and released on PR bail.

James Gray, 35, of 38 Kelwyn Dr, Rollinsford, was arrested for the sale of a controlled drug. He was processed at the Dover Police Department and released on PR bail.

The task force made the arrests on Dec. 20, with help from Rochester and Dover Police, the DEA, US Marshal's and New Hampshire State Police.
