TILTON - Last week the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 donated one hundred pairs of Bombas socks to the New Hampshire Veterans Home, where the mission is to provide the best quality of life for Granite State veterans with dignity, honor and respect.
Jeff Rasmussen, Georgette Verhelle and Ken Verhelle of the Rochester Elks said they were thrilled to make the donation to the serivcemen and women who have given so much to defend our country and way of life.

In addition to the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 has donated hundreds of pairs of Bombas socks to other Rochester organizations. These include Home For Now, Infinity Peer Support and Waypoint.
The donations were made possible by Copper Cannon Camp, which is the New Hampshire State Elks Association's state project.
Rochester Elks Lodge #1393, located on Columbus Avenue, has a very robust and active membership. Members contribute to the community through various programs, including Student Scholarships, Americanism, Veterans Activities, Youth Activities, a Drug Awareness Program, and Community Service.
