ACTON, Maine - Robert William Sprague Jr, 56, died peacefully at his home on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, in Acton.
Robert was born Dec. 23, 1968, in Sanford to the late Robert William Sprague Sr and Cecile A. (Chagnon) Sprague.
Robert worked as a machine operator at Rand Whitney Container for many years, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his dedication and strong work ethic.
An outdoorsman at heart, Robert found joy in hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling spending countless hours immersed in nature's beauty. His passion for cars led him to frequent the Bennett Jackson car auctions channel, where he enjoyed seeing all the older cars, a hobby that brought him great satisfaction.
Despite his many passions, Robert had a unique love for the whimsical world of SpongeBob, a reflection of his lighthearted spirit and sense of humor that endeared him to everyone who knew him.
Robert is survived by his daughter Nicole Sprague, and her partner Ryan Willette, of Acton; his son Jayson Sprague of Acton as well as his sister Debra Fifield and her partner Mar Koch of Milton Mills, N.H. who he adored so much nicknaming him sweet chuck. Robert is also survived by his five grandchildren Ian, Leilah, Ryleigh, Nova and Colt.
