ROCHESTER - A Saturday 5K road race to honor slain journalist James Foley will begin at 10 a.m. at the Rochester Fairgrounds.
Anyone who wants can register by getting to the fairgounds between 7:30 and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Foley was executed in August 2014 in Syria by ISIS forces.
Meanwhile, motorists can expect some detours due to the race, including that a majority of Brock Street will be one way from 9:30-11 a.m.
Meanwhile, Brock Street (and McClelland School) will be accessible via Washington Street, but there will be no Route 125 cut-through access to Washington Street during this time.
Route 125 to Brock Street will be accessible up to Holy Rosary Credit Union and Nicole Street only.
The public is urged to use caution so as not to endanger race participants.
