Richard T. Blaisdell ... longtime postal worker

ROCHESTER - Richard T. Blaisdell, 65, of Rochester, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at his home after a period of failing health. He was born January 10, 1951, in Rochester, the son of the late Willard and Ruth (Blood) Blaisdell.
Richard was a lifelong resident of Rochester and a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1970. He served in the Army, then worked 40 years in the U.S. Postal Service in Durham, N.H. Richard was an avid scuba diver in Alton Bay, N.H.
Members of his family include his wife of 36 years, Barbara (Saporito) Blaisdell; son Richard Alton Blaisdell, Somersworth; daughter, Diane Blaisdell, Rochester, brother, Willie Blaisdell, Sanborton, N.H.; sister, Eleanor Harding, Rochester; sister-in-laws, Diane and husband, David Grammerstorf and Rose Marie Giordano and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Blaisdell.
