DOVER - Richard J Haigh 91, died peacefully with family at his bedside, on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Born March 3, 1930 in Dover, he was the son of William and Doris (Goodwin) Haigh.

He graduated from Dover High School, Class of 1948, and served in the Navy for four years. He retired from the Schiller Station in Newington, New Hampshire after 29 years of employment. After retiring he and his wife moved to Florida where he was employed with Orange County. In 2018, they relocated to Auburn Ala.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce (Maloney) Haigh, his daughter Jane Wilbrandt and son Richard Haigh. His son, William Haigh, passed away in 2015 from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. He also is survived by his granddaughters Amy Anniuk (Justin), Lisa Holstein (Brandon) and Elizabeth Willis, and great-grandchildren Madilyn-Jo, Jay, Alivia, Daniel, Ryan, Austin, Mia, Maverick, his sister Dorothy Picard, niece Melissa Hamilton (Christopher) and grand nephew Andrew.
