ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday for Hope On Haven Hill, which provides residential, outpatient, and recovery support substance use disorder services for pregnant, post-partum and parenting women in New Hampshire.

The ribbon cutting was for two new programs at the agency's HHH Center for Hope and Wellness, located at 40 Charles St. in Rochester. Kate's Closet, a free boutique thrift store for agency clients, and the 3 Sister's Gym, a fully equipped gym and yoga studio were unveiled.

HHH board of directors, donors, staff, clients, and volunteers celebrated the new programs.

"We are so grateful to everyone who contributed at the 2023 Gala to make this possible," said HHH Executive Director Kerry Norton. "A big thank you to the Vanderheiden Family, Mike Rouleau, and Kathleen Beede for committing to the full health and wellness of the women we care for at HHH. Having access to a gym and yoga services is so important for a holistic approach to wellness for the women we serve."

Founding Board of Director member Kathie Routhier shared the vision of Kate's Closet, stating "More than 10 years ago, I had a dream of making sure that women who were pregnant and new mothers and were struggling with clothing for themselves and their babies, had them. I used to joke we should have a bus and drive around to hand them out. Now, Kate's Closet is the place where we can make sure they have what they need."

The Agency is holding its annual Hope Springs Eternal Gala at Wentworth by the Sea on March 23. For more information on sponsoring this event or to purchase tickets https://www.hopeonhavenhill.org/support-us/hhh-gala/
