LEBANON, Maine - Raynor J Smith Sr, 61, of Lebanon, died on Nov. 29 after battling many health issues for some time. Raynor was born on July 23, 1961. He loved hunting and fishing; he never shied away from taking in the sheer beauty of the outdoors. Any chance he got he would stop to look and feel the sun's energy, as he would say. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, siblings, and close friends who were family to him. Raynor has been with the love of his life Paula Smith for the past 44 years and married for 35 years. Above all, he cherished his family and he fought hard to stay with them.

Raynor is survived by his wife Paula Smith, and their four children, Amanda Richard her husband Andrew, Elizabeth Joeckel her husband John, Raynor Smith Jr his wife Kathryn and Sarah Denman her husband Kyler. Along with his 8 Grandkids; Cadence, Sophia, Andrew, Greyson, Varrah, Lylah, Lucas, Isaac, and a special family friend Dotty Clark.

He's also survived by his siblings, Kelsey Smith, and Cheryl Rabideau, Chris Smith his partner Heather, Megan Smith her partner Rodger, Toni McBride her husband Gene, many nieces and nephews, and two close best friends that were like his brothers, Dale and Greg.

He is predeceased by his father Kelsey Smith Sr, his mother Alice Wolcott, stepfather Charlie Wolcott, brother Steven, and sister Kim.
