Bitter Pill will be at the ROH on Friday (Jay Fortin photo)

The Rochester Opera House will welcome Bitter Pill, with special guest Fling, to the main stage Friday at 8 p.m.

Self-described as 'rhythm and bluegrass', Bitter Pill is a tight-knit family, (literally father and daughter) who play a dark and anachronistic twist of folk, blues, jazz, rockabilly, and country - mixed with original spoken word as well as reading from literary classics.

The Rochester Opera House is a nonprofit organization, located above City Hall, at 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester. Free parking is available at City Hall, on Wakefield Street, and around downtown Rochester. For tickets, visit www.rochesteroperahouse.com or call (603) 335-1992.
