Probe into downtown Somersworth road rage case continues; charges being mulled

SOMERSWORTH - A probe into a downtown road rage incident that that occurred Sunday and involved gunfire continues today by Somersworth Police.
The incident occurred on Market Street near the Maine line around 8:30 p.m. drawing police who'd been informed that shots were fired.
Somersworth Police Capt. Matthew Duval said on Wednesday that charges have yet to be filed, adding that they were continuing their investigation with the assistance of Maine State Police.
About 10 inutes following the incident Berwick Police officers located the suspect vehicle on Rochester Street in Berwick and conducted a motor vehicle stop.
The operator who was the person of interest was detained and later released, with a vehicle impounded pending a search warrant.
Police on the day of the incident said charges were expected.
