Police report two DUI arrests in one week in which minors were passengers

ROCHESTER - In less than one week Rochester Police have made two DUI arrests involving drivers who were impaired while transporting children.
On May 2 Charles Ouellette, 41, of Strafford, was arrested for aggravated DUI and two counts of child endangerment.
Police got involved around 8:15 p.m. as they responded to Pickering Road for a report of a male acting strange, slurring his words and appearing to possibly be "on something."
"It was reported that he was sitting on a curb, but then reported he was lying on the ground and might be unconscious," Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said on Friday. "When we arrived the male was being trended to by EMS."

While on scene officers noticed there were two children in the back seat of a nearby car. During the course of the investigation, evidence on scene and witness statements, Ouellette was placed under arrests.
Then on Wednesday Brianna Muscarello, 23, of Milton, was arrested around 11 p.m. for DUI, two counts of child endangerment and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Child endangerment charges can rise to the level of Class A misdemeanors, which can carry a hefty fine and jail time.
They can also result in the installation of an ignition interlock device, at least 18 months of driver's license suspension and the possibility of random drug or alcohol tests, according to Russmanlaw.com
