ROCHESTER - Rochester Police say they are investigating a parking lot brawl in front of the Home Depot that occurred last Friday.
According to dispatch notes, the fight erupted around 5:20 p.m. and involved two groups, one of which comprised Home Depot employees. The person who called in to report the altercation said that women were among those involved in the fisticuffs and that punches were landed by both parties.
Rochester Police Public Information Officer Andrew Swanberry said the probe into what happened is ongoing and he couldn't release much information, but he did tell The Rochester Voice that a BB gun was involved.
"The initial report included that a BB-gun was somehow involved," he said. "The initial investigation revealed that there was a verbal dispute in the parking lot that became physical."
Dispatch notes taken as the incident was unfolding referenced a BB-gun that was fired at store employees from a vehicle at the scene.
