Police on lookout for female suspect in hit-and-run that injured man

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle that struck a pedestrian Thursday evening.
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on South Main Street near the intersection of Franklin Street.
Police were dispatched to the scene for a report of a hit-and-run and found a male with injuries.
Police say the vehicle that struck the man was said to be a van operated by a heavy-set female.
Police believe there may be a number of witnesses as other vehicles were reportedly stopped in the area at the time of the incident.
