MILTON - A Milton man was arrested on Saturday on assault charges after police say he tried to run over another man with a pickup truck, then stabbed him.

Christopher Forcier was charged with first degree assault and reckless conduct, both felonies.

The victim in the fray, Brandon Henner, meanwhile, was arrested on a separate warrant at the scene.

According to Milton Police, they went to Townhouse Road at the intersection of Vachon Drive for a disturbance where they were told by Henner that Forcier had tried to run him over with his vehicle.

After an investigation, Officers found that Forcier had attempted to back his truck into Henner during an altercation, then after Henner ended up in the back from the impact, Forcier accelerated with Henner in the bed of the truck and lost control into a ditch on Townhouse Road.

Then it is alleged Forcier stabbed Henner with a knife, causing injuries which were described as nonlife-threatening.

Forcier was arrested by Milton Police earlier this month on charges connected to possession of drugs with intent to distribute, a felony level criminal offense. That charge came as a result of a search warrant on his Milton residence in which a large amount of marijuana was found and seized.

Forcier is currently being held at the Strafford County Jail on 10,000 cash bail. He will be arraigned later today.
