Tired of Streaming Fees?

It seems like everything is moving towards separate streaming fees. If you're tired of cable costs and service charges for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+ and Acorn, then come to the Library, and enjoy a lot of what's offered on those channels for free! You just need a library card. We have a wide variety of BBC and other TV series available, as well as Disney movies, Hallmark movies and series, documentaries, independent and foreign films, sci-fi and horror. Have your own home film festivals! Explore new genres. Need a recommendation? Just ask! We are happy to help!

Nonfiction Challenge

If you enjoy a challenge, we have one for you! The Rochester Public Library's nonfiction reading challenge was created to encourage patrons to step out of their normal reading realms and venture out of their comfort zones. To narrow down the choices, there are six categories to choose from: Astronomy/space, Finances, True crime, Self help, Gardening, and Cooking/food. The more books you read, the more chances you will have to win a prize! Check out our Main Floor display showcasing some books from the subject list for you to try. Please visit our website, social media accounts, or the Main Desk to enter.
