Penny Phillips ... longtime Hannaford employee; at 70

LEBANON, Maine - Penny Phillips, 70, died on Sunday June 2, 2024, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital following a period of failing health.

Born Oct. 5, 1953, in Rochester, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anne (Stewart) Chadbourne.

Penny worked for Hannaford for many years, in various departments. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and playing games on her computer.

Members of her family include her husband Michael Phillips of Lebanon; her seven children Ronald Gagnon of Lebanon, Melissa Estabrooks and husband Timothy of Claremont, N.H.; Jeremy Gagnon and wife Kelley of Somersworth, N.H.; Laurie Johnson of New Durham, N.H.; Brandon Phillips of Lebanon, Katie Meade and husband Joshua of Springville, N.Y.; and Aaron Phillips of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one on the way, three siblings Charles, Philip, and Tina Chadbourne, many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Linda Masse.
