ROCHESTER - Patricia M. "Pat" Moore, 63, of Rochester died on Friday, February 27, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Colonial Hill Center in Rochester.
She was born on October 18, 1951, in Casco, Maine, and raised in Bridgton, Maine, a daughter of the late Archie and Myrtle (Oberton) Tripp. Pat was a graduate of Lake Region High School.
After 26 years of service, Pat retired from the University of New Hampshire as housekeeping supervisor.
Pat was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Somersworth and the VFW Post 1772 Women's Auxiliary in Rochester; was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage. She loved the ocean and had fond memories of all her excursions to York Beach. She enjoyed going out to eat with her many friends, loved spending time with her family and just adored her cat, Salem. She also spent many Christmas' in North Carolina with her sister, Gloria and brother-in-law, Bob.
A sister, Nancy M. McDonald, predeceased her in 2013.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Arna M. Thibeau and her husband, Christopher of Salem, N.Y., and Angela M. Moore of Sanford, Maine; her nephew who she raised as a son, John P. Tripp and his wife, Jamie of Schuylerville, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Hinkley and her husband, Robert "Bob" of Cary, N.C.; and a niece, Christine Wells-Kelly her husband, Edwin and their children of South Burlington, Vt.
