HAMPTON FALLS - A motorist died in a fiery crash in Hampton Falls early Sunday.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Exeter Road. Upon arrival, police found a fully involved Subaru Impreza sedan. Once the fire was extinguished, it was determined the operator was the only person in the vehicle and was deceased.

The identity of the driver is being withheld while State Police work to confirm their identity and notify next of kin.

Exeter Road in Hampton Falls between Brown Road and Parsonage Road was closed for about 4½ hours.

Speed appears to be a factor in this crash, however all aspects are still under investigation. State Police are asking for anyone who has information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Trooper Patrick Vetter at Patrick.R.Vetter@dos.nh.gov, or State Police Dispatch at 603-223-4381.
