STRAFFORD - Madison Charlotte Weeks, 7, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, as a result of an automobile accident in Rochester.

Born June 23, 2006, in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of Robert and Lori (Godin) Weeks.

She attended second grade at Strafford Elementary School.

Madison will always be remembered as a smart, beautiful, and kind person whose big brown eyes and smile could light up a room. She will be missed by all who knew her. She loved the outdoors, especially hiking and ice fishing with her Daddy. She had the most generous heart and helped as many charitable organizations as she could. Her favorites were The March of Dimes and Alex's Lemonade Stand. She raised money for homeless shelters and wanted to be a veterinarian who provided free care for everyone who couldn't afford it. She loved dancing at Corinne's School of Dance, with her favorite dance teacher Angie. She loved all animals, especially horses. She was a Girl Scout and was to perform in her first Destination ImagiNation event in March. She was a talented artist and gifted reader. She loved her little sister very much. Mama and Daddy love you to the moon and back again. Our little ladybug. Our little boo-boo bear.

Members of her family include her parents Robert and Lori Weeks of Strafford; her sister and best friend ever, Carly Weeks of Strafford; her paternal grandparents Joyce MacDougall and Larry Chilson of Middleton; and Brian Weeks, Sr. and Teri Whitten of Rochester; her maternal grandmother Diana Godin of Littleton; her paternal great grandparents John and Shirley MacDougall, Jr. of Strafford; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she loved with all of her heart, and her best friend since birth and sister forever Aliza Fournier of Rochester.
