Obit: Douglas Alan Stevens ... had worked at PNSY

ROCHESTER - Douglas Alan Stevens, 67, formerly of Rochester, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the Concord Hospital in Concord, after a brief illness.

He was born Aug. 23, 1946, in Rochester, a son of George and Irene "Betty" Stevens. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School and had resided in Rochester most of his life. Douglas served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and had worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He enjoyed restoring old phones and was an avid Patriots fan.

Members of his family include his children, Alan and wife Traci Stevens, Jeffery Stevens, James Stevens, Katie Stevens; seven grandchildren; and his brother, Dennis Stevens.
