ROCHESTER - Norma Louise Ellis died on Monday, January 29, 2018, at Frisbee Memorial Hospital from a massive stroke compounded by Alzheimer's, with her beloved husband, Richard, by her side. Norma was born in Dover on January 7, 1945 to Charles and Barbara Jenness.
She was a lifelong resident of Rochester. She graduated from Spaulding High School and attended Hesser College, studying interior design, which was a natural talent that she possessed. She worked as a day/night manager at Star Market and managed both Richard's Ladies' Apparel and Truffles Chocolate Fantasy, both in Rochester. Her greatest remembrance was witnessing an actual air refueling flight on the KC-135 aircraft with her husband and flying on the family's Lake Aircraft. She was always seen engulfed in happiness when listening to Frank Sinatra's music.
Norma leaves her loving husband of 51 years, Richard Ellis; two sons, Scott and his wife, Karen, and Todd and his wife, Katrina; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary, Chelsie, Olivia, Lauren, Madeleine, and Eloise; three great-grandchildren, Emery, Carson, and ViviAnne.
