ROCHESTER - A car erupted into flames on Betts Road Tuesday afternoon, but police say it was not due to an accident or anything suspicious.
Police got the call around 1:55 p.m., and responded to provide a traffic and safety presence while the vehicle burned, Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today.
A small explosion can be heard during a Facebook video, with the videographer noting that another explosion was heard moments before the video started.
The vehicle came to a stop halfway off the roadway under the Cross Road overpass.
Pinkham said no one was hurt in the incident.
