MILTON MILLS - The 14th Annual Woods, Water & Wildlife Festival will take place at Branch Hill Farm, 307 Applebee Rd, in Milton Mills on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

This family friendly celebration of the natural world features fun and educational outdoor activities with lots of new events this year.

Parents and children can make chicken hand puppets and learn about raising chickens at home, build houses for native bees, or become "Watershed Warriors' by completing six activity stations about keeping lakes healthy.

Returning favorites include a hayride to the river to look for wildlife in the water, rescued wild animals from Squam Lakes Science Center, fishing in the pond, a corn maze to explore, a petting zoo, a kids' discovery walk in the woods, demonstrations of traditional rural skills, a guided family forest walk and a kids' craft corner.

The festival is a rain/shine and no-pets event, and is presented by Moose Mountains Regional Greenways (MMRG) and Branch Hill Farm.

Cost is $5/adult or $10/family; FREE for kids 12 and under or MMRG members.

For more information, see www.mmrg.info/festival.

To volunteer call Kari Lygren at 603-978-7125 or email info@mmrg.info.
