Cold and flu season Protocols

Cold and flu season, as well as Covid-19, is upon us. If anyone in your family comes down with Covid-19, please contact us for help with items you may not be able to return on time. Please call us at 603-332-1428 or 335-7549 with any questions. While we love to share our books, we do not want to share germs! This list contains everything from a working from home misadventure to an Arthurian retelling to zombies appearing at a fan convention and everything in between. Happy reading!"

The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow; Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan; Several People Are Typing by Calvin Kasulke; Girls Save the World in This One by Ash Parsons; The Excalibur Curse by Kiersten White; The Throwback List by Lily Anderson; Among the Beasts & Briars by Ashley Poston; Gilded by Marissa Meyer; The Nature of Witches by Rachel Hawkins; The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes; Broken Wish by Julie C. Book Recommendation

Main Desk Librarian, Emily, has a book recommendation to share: "I just finished the book Circe by Madeline Miller. While for me this book had a slow start, it is another well-crafted story by Miller. Personally, I preferred her other novel, Song of Achilles, but nonetheless I enjoyed the winding tale of the goddess Circe. The ending was the best part and warmed my heart. A perfect read if you enjoy Greek mythology and powerful female characters."

Children's Room

RPL Librarian, Amy, has set up a book display perfect for this time of year:

"Snow Adventures is a chapter book display in the children's room, which caters to readers up to approximately age 12. You will find mysteries, historical fiction, fantasy, and adventure books of all reading levels. Grab a bookmark while you are browsing for even more book ideas.

Help For Needy and Homeless
