MEREDITH - MVSB recently announced the promotion of Dan Osetek to senior vice president, senior commercial lending officer. In this role, Osetek will oversee MVSB's commercial lending team and programs. In addition, he will continue his role as senior vice president working with bank leadership to develop and implement bank strategy.

Mr. Osetek has most recently served as the bank's senior vice president, commercial lending team leader and, for over a decade he has traveled throughout the Mount Washington Valley and greater Lakes Region communities supporting local businesses with their financing needs. "Dan has played a critical role in helping to strengthen the department throughout his decade at the Bank, and he will step into this new role with expertise and dedication, ensuring our commercial lending team continues to grow and thrive," said Mr. Swedberg. "He is well respected by his team, members of the community, local business owners and senior staff at the Bank. I know the department will be in good hands under this leadership."

"I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to step into this new role and to uphold the high standards set by John during his time here," Mr. Osetek said. "I've had the pleasure of working with him to build an exceptional commercial lending team and to evolve our technology and processes. I look forward to furthering those efforts supporting our local business clients with the exceptional service and commonsense local decision making MVSB is known for."

Mr. Osetek joined MVSB as vice president, commercial loan officer in 2014, bringing with him over a decade of commercial lending experience in local banks. He was promoted to team leader in 2021 and to senior vice president in 2022. He holds a bachelor of science in business and accounting from Bridgewater (Mass.) State College.

In the community, Mr. Osetek currently serves as president of the Wentworth Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO), a glade chief with Granite Backcountry Alliance and he is a dedicated blood donor with the American Red Cross. He resides in Conway with his family.
