Missing Exeter man who suffers from dementia sparks Silver alert

EXETER - A Silver Alert has been issued for an elderly Exeter man missing since Tuesday night around 9 p.m.

George Blodgett, 81, was last heard from around 5 p.m. when he told his wife over the phone that he was headed to Beverly, Mass., for the evening, safety officials say.

Blodgett is described as 6-foot and 230 pounds, though he may appear thinner.

He has grey hair band brown eyes and was last seen wearing a brown-checker shirt and tan pants.

Blodgett was operating a black 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with New Hampshire registration: 467-4562.

According to his wife, Blodgett suffers from dementia.

Anyone who sees him is asked to notify the Exeter Police Department at (603) 772-1212.
